On Sept. 9, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM the 8th Ward will be celebrating our community and its diversity with a Mult-Cultural Fall Festival in the parking lot of the 5 Points Shopping Center located between Charles St. and Broadway at Parkside.
 
The purpose is both to bring an enjoyable event to all of the neighbors in the area and to bring attention to our stores which have been overlooked for too long.
 
To celebrate what we have become, we will have music and food to match our community. Below is listed what you can expect when you join us:

Da'Catch is just around the corner from the grocery store.
Across the street, we have Dusty Boots and 8th Ward Pub
 
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
 
Bouncy House
American Legion Area where children can make cards for our Veterans in nursing homes, showing that they have not been forgotten
 
League of Women Voters- Come and sign up or change information
 
American Association of University Women - A group that works for Equity and Equality for ALL women
 
Rockford University
 
There is no charge for entrance, activities, or entertainment and everyone is welcome.
