2022 Primary Election Polling Places — An Easy Guide

It’s that time of year, Winnebago County Dems! The June 28th primary election is fast approaching, and it’s important to get out there and make your voice heard. Since it can be rather confusing at time with there being two election authorities (Winnebago County Clerk and City of Rockford Board of Election Commissioners) in Winnebago County, we thought it would be helpful to make a quick reference guide so voters could have all the basic information at hand.

First of all, if you aren’t sure if you live within Rockford city limits, you can find out by looking up your address on this map of Rockford wards.

Residents of the City of Rockford, the following information is for you. If you live in the county but not the city, please keep scrolling.

Here is a complete sample ballot. Also, a list of valid write-in candidates.

The City has early voting at both the Board of Elections and Emmanuel Episcopal Church:

Monday, June 20th through Friday, June 24th from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 25th from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 26th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Monday, June 27th from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 28th from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
